The Secret to Flying is to throw yourself at the Earth and miss.
<<<<< What THAT SPOT looked like the day we made it.
Divizio removing the temporary blue tarp, Poole looking up through the roof.
The White tarp in the photo is directly above where we would ultimately build our kiln.

<<<< THAT SPOT as seen on Google Earth.
Our Trip to the Kiln.
(Tues, Sept 5th, '95)
Stacy, Loren, Dave and Turtle
We bump along past second growth |\
Turtle yelling directions from the back of Poole's Van.
We are on our way to the kiln to string a tarp and make a roof.
Just came from a brief stop at the dump_ took a couple tires off a derelict Chevy van_like Pooles.
We searched the place and found a heavy fibre rope.

SO many years later....but I have to say... on Google Earth you can still see the remnant of the HEAVY DUTY white tarp we used to cover the kiln and work space.
